TriGen+

Bosley has been a major name in hair restoration for decades, from hair transplants to topical products. TriGen+ is a combination of treatments designed to reduce hair thinning, strengthen existing hairs, and regrow hair. Treatment consists of three procedures: PRP (platelet rich plasma) injections, at-home low level laser therapy (LLLT), and Bosley products which include shampoos, supplements, and Minoxidil. 

First, the patient will receive PRP injections. Blood will be collected from the patient, placed in a centrifuge, and the components of the blood will be separated. Once the PRP is isolated, the serum can then be injected into parts of the scalp that are experiencing hair thinning. At home, patients will use LLLT therapy either daily or every other day for a period of 6-30 minutes. The patient will also be directed to use specific products on a consistent, daily basis as well including shampoos, supplements, and topical Rogaine.

Prior to PRP injection: 
- Avoid blood thinning medications
- Stop consuming alcohol 3 days prior 
- Quit smoking at least 1 week before
- Wash hair the morning of a PRP session
- Other hair loss treatments may be continued before the procedure
- Patients are allowed to color hair up to 3 days prior

Before Treatment

- A small amount of blood is collected from the patient
- Blood is placed into a centrifuge to separate the PRP 
- PRP is injected into the scalp

During Treatment

- Scalp may feel tight
- Minimal swelling
- Patients resume daily LLLT and topical hair restoration products

Immediately After Treatment

- PRP injections once monthly for 1-3 months
- After 3 months, patients will notice a stabilization of hair loss
- Within 3-6 months patients will see initial results of fuller hair
- After 1 year, patients will see visible results
- Consistent, daily use of LLLT and topical hair restoration products needed for best results
