Capillus®

Low level laser therapy (LLLT) has been shown to not only stop hair loss but also encourage hair growth for healthier, thicker hair. Capillus, much like Theradome and iGrow, is a hair restoration product that does not involve creams, medications, or surgery. The Capillus system is discreet and looks like a baseball cap. Depending on the exact Capillus system (82, 202, or Pro), between 82-272 laser diodes are used to deliver stimulating laser energy to the hair follicles. This low level laser energy increases capillary blood flow to the dermis of the skin which helps slow down and even reverse hair loss. 

Treatment sessions with the Capillus system are done at home either daily or every other day. The Capillus hat is worn for a period of 6-30 minutes. The Capillus system is portable and can be worn while working, driving, and doing other activities. Wearers may feel a slight warming sensation during a treatment session. Once the treatment time is complete, the Capillus hat is removed and normal daily routines can be resumed. Consistent treatment is necessary to see results.

- Stabilization of hair loss within 3 months
- Within 3-6 months patients will see initial results of fuller hair and a decrease in hair loss
- After 1 year, patients will see visible results
- At 2 years patients will gain the most improvement from Capillus
- Consistent, daily treatments are needed for sustained results
