About Yohama Lorenzo, DMD
Dr. Yohama Lorenzo, was born in Cuba and emigrated to the United States in 1962. She lived for a few years in Puerto Rico and established her practice in Miami in 1979. She has a son, Dr. Federico Grande, a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a dual degree in Medicine, who lives in Stuart, Florida. Dr. Grande is the father of her three beloved grandsons, Alex, Nicky and Joey. Dr. Lorenzo has an extended family of three stepchildren, one step-granddaughter and two adopted sons. Her huge family is always found enjoying her cooking around the family dining table, where laughter and conversation are always present. Dr. Lorenzo is an avid traveler, loves boating, painting, photography and creative writing. However, her true passion is her profession, where she transforms lives by restoring her patients’ smiles! Her artistic eye is an important part of her excellent cosmetic dentistry, and is also seen in her travel-photo collection that is displayed in her computer monitors throughout her office. Through her 36 years as a dentist, she has inspired many of her patients into joining her profession, and frequently you will find an observing intern who is experiencing the enthusiasm that Dr. Lorenzo feels while working on her beloved patients and surrounded by her treasured staff. Dr. Lorenzo is constantly attending Continuing Education courses in all the newest development within the dental field, allowing her to practice the State-of-the-Art dentistry that she loves so much.
