About Willy Y. Pan, DDS
Dr. Pan was born in Taiwan and came to the United States with his family at age 8 where he spent the early years of his grade school life in Eugene, Oregon. He and his family moved to San Jose, California 2 years later and this is where he grew up and somehow became a Dodgers fan (no offense to the Giants fans). He attended Bellarmine College Preparatory and after graduation, he joined the accelerated dental program at the University of the Pacific (UOP) in San Francisco where he received his doctorate in 1999. Due to Dr. Pan’s passion and zeal for serving the community, he decided to pursue residency at the VA Hospital in San Diego where he performed advanced prosthodontics, endodontics and oral surgery on veterans. Through his experience at the VA Hospital, he has seen a broad spectrum of complex and esoteric cases topped with many emotionally and physically challenged veterans. In 2000, Dr. Pan returned to his hometown of San Jose and started his own private practice of family dentistry in the Evergreen Valley community. His aspiration of providing the utmost quality in dental care coupled with his knowledge, extensive experience and a genuine and humbled heart to serve his patients earned him many accolades and rewards amongst his patient pool and ultimately led him to acquire his second office in the heart of Cupertino in October 2003. The Cupertino office has truly been a blessing to both the patients in the community and Dr. Pan and his family. Due to rapid growth and expansion of the Cupertino practice, Dr. Pan ultimately decided to consolidate all his efforts, energy and passion into one office in Cupertino and sold his San Jose office in 2004. Dr. Pan’s philosophy remains that people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds deserve the best quality dental care.
