About William Riecker, DDS

Dr. William Riecker has been practicing General Dentistry in Stratford, Connecticut for the past 33 years. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the State University College of New York at Oneonta. He then attended the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine to obtain his dental degree. After completing a two year general practice residency on Long Island, he joined this thriving dental practice with the commitment to treat each one of his patients as an individual. Nothing is more important to him than helping his patients feel comfortable while working with them to meet each one of their specific dental needs. He feels very fortunate that he looks forward to coming to work every day to do something that he is passionate about. This year Dr. Riecker‘s efforts were honored by being voted into the Connecticut Magazine Top Dentists in General Dentistry category. Dr. Riecker stays current in his own education by maintaining his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, completing the education continuum at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and participating in multiple professional educational organizations and study clubs. These allow him to stay up to date with the most cutting edge technologies and philosophies that are available in dental treatments such as , Cosmetic Dentistry , TMJ, Invisalign Orthodontics , Occlusion , Dental Rehabilitation and Implant Dentistry. In addition to his desire to continue his education he is constantly passing on this knowledge to each one of his patients in the most current preventive dental care. Dr Riecker has been married to his wife Barbara for the past 36 years and they have two children both married. When Dr. Riecker is not working he enjoys many of outdoor adventures including hiking, fishing, kayaking, and skiing. He also enjoys photography, his vegetable garden, and spending time with his family and friends.
