About William L. Krell, DDS
Dr. Bill Krell has been in a private dental practice for 40 years in the area surrounding The Galleria. He was born and raised in Houston, graduated from Texas A&M University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, and graduated in 1976 from the University of Texas-Dental Branch in Houston. He is married and has a son and daughter. Dr. Krell’s philosophy has always been that his patients’ wants and desires are first and foremost. His practice focuses on keeping the mouth, teeth, gums, (and, ultimately, the rest of the body) healthy and disease-free. Patients benefit from his years of experience in treating complex dental problems. His treatment recommendations are made with your best interest in mind, aiming to save as much tooth structure as possible, while keeping you comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Krell feels all dentistry should be ""cosmetic"", and he has participated in the development of new cosmetic materials and techniques. He offers his patients a full spectrum of dental care, including complete smile reconstruction, implant placement and restoration, laser dentistry, advanced periodontal therapy, endodontics (root canal treatment), home and in-office tooth lightening, snoring appliances, athletic mouth guards and splints, and orthodontics (Invisalign). Along with offering a wide variety of treatment options, he also prides himself in the technology he carries in his dental office. As a Houston dentist, Dr. Krell provides 3D Cone Beam (CBCT) Imaging, which allows in-depth evaluation of your teeth, gums, and bone health, improving the accuracy of your diagnosis. He utilizes the newest technologies and offers digital radiography, digital smile simulations, laser dentistry. and same-day CEREC crowns and veneers. Dr. Krell has attained his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, an award earned by only about 2,100 dentists world-wide who have completed the necessary 1,100 hours of continuing dental education. Additionally, he was one of the first general dentists certified to offer the Invisalign technique to his patients. Dr. Krell is extremely active in his church and community, and very involved in the Boy Scouts of America.
