About Walton S. Peery, DDS
Dr. Walton Peery received his Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1974. He continued his education at Emory University, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1978. That same year, Dr. Peery began full-time private practice in Charlotte. The doctor is a member in good standing with the American Dental Society, North Carolina Dental Society, Charlotte Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, ECO Dentistry Association, and Academy of Laser Dentistry. He continues to pursue his interest in all areas of dentistry and has completed more than 800 hours of postgraduate classroom education. He’s been named one of America’s Top Dentists for multiple years. Dr. Peery and his wife of 30-plus years have three adult children. He is a native of Charlotte and an elder at Myers Park Presbyterian Church. Outside the office, Dr. Peery enjoys gardening, hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
