About Wafiq Belbeisi, DDS
Being the son of an immigrant, I have dreamt of success my whole life. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a BS in Biology and went on to work as a Medical Technologist at St Joseph Mercy Hospital. It was there that I knew helping people with their health was important to me. Both my parents struggled with dentures for as long as I could remember, so I decided that dentistry was the profession for me. I approached my father with the idea and he supported my decision to further my academic resume. I set my sights on the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a DDS degree in 1990. Because I had a family to provide for, I kept my job as a med tech at the hospital where I worked on the weekends. I felt ambitious, so I opened Saline Family Dentistry the same year I graduated and practiced there during the week. I am proud to be a part of the Saline community and always look forward to the future and helping others with their dental and medical health.
