Then, at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Dr. Voci completed a 5 year General Surgery Internship, Residency, and Chief Residency. He received an Outstanding Resident Award there. Following that, he served on the University of Washington’s Faculty in General Surgery while waiting for a valued competitive spot at Duke University School of Medicine for his Plastic Surgery Residency and Chief Residency. During that time, Dr. Voci also went on to a highly-regarded Hand Surgery Fellowship at the University of Louisville under the world-renowned Hand Surgeons, Dr. Harold Kleinert and Dr. Joseph Kutz. Dr. Voci is Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and was Certified by the American Board of Surgery and is now Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, North Carolina Medical Society, Founder and First President of the Plastic Surgery Society of Greater Charlotte, and former Chief of Plastic Surgery at Novant Presbyterian Main Hospital in Charlotte, NC for 8 Years.
