About Vincent Ip, DDS
Dr. Vincent Ip, a native Texan, was born and raised in Stephenville, Texas. He is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from New York University College of Dentistry. He also completed a Pediatric Preceptorship at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Ip moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he practiced in a State-of-the-Art cosmetic dentistry practice. The practice was awarded for being the top Invisalign provider in the state each year that Dr. Ip was there. Although the bright lights in Las Vegas were fun, Dr. Ip wanted to get back to his Texas roots. He settled on his old college town, the ever growing and changing Austin to start his own practice. Smile 360 on South Lamar was born out of his passion to provide all around dental care for the entire family. Dr. Ip is a proud member of: American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, Capital Area Dental Society. These organizations plus his continuing education hours, which far exceed the requirements by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, keep him current on all of the latest advancements in the dental world. He is always seeking the latest and greatest dental ideas and tools to ensure his patients receive the most current and up to date care possible in a caring and comfortable setting. Dr. Ip gives back to the world community through his service with Flying Doctors of America and Smiles on Wheels providing care to some of the neediest populations in the world. He and his wife, Lindsey, reside in central Austin. They are avid sports fans and regularly follow the Longhorns, Cowboys and Mavericks. They love to travel and scuba dive. Their most exciting trip was an African Safari where they witnessed the Great Migration. They have aspirations of one day visiting all seven continents and diving with Great Whites. You might find them eating BBQ (Dr. Ip's favorite is Franklin Barbeque!), walking Lady Bird Lake or checking out the live music scene on their days off.
