About Vang Ly, DDS

Dr. Vang (Peter) Ly received his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Chemistry from the University of Pacific in 1995 and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2000. Dr. Ly has been in private practice for 15 years in Sacramento, CA. Currently, Dr. Ly commutes to Saint Rapheal Dental Clinic in Stockton, CA every month to provide free dental services to patients who cannot afford dental care. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and working his way towards mastership by taking an immense load of courses on Orthodontics and contemporary dentistry. Dr. Ly’s quest is to deliver the highest level of pain-free personalized patient care, and create confidence in patients’ smiles by following his two philosophies: “Karma” and “Golden Rule”. Besides holding his ethical values in the office, Dr. Ly continues to serve as a good Samaritan for his community. He has received the Outstanding Citizenship Award from the Sacramento County District Attorney’s office in the past. He also contributes funds to the community by donating to children’s extracurricular activities, local events, and scholarship programs. Dr. Ly’s hobby is road cycling. He is an elite long distance cyclist who has participated in Climb to Kaiser, Death Ride, Davis Double Century, Solvang Double Century and Hemet Double Century. He has earned the prestigious California Triple Crown jersey, which is earned only through the completion of at least three Double Centuries within one calendar year. Dr. Ly likes to stay active and make healthy life style a top priority. Respectively, he will commit to provide quality dental care and emphasize the importance of a good oral health, as it strongly correlates to our overall health and longevity.
