About Troy H. Winegar, DDS
Dr. Winegar was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. From a young age he was passionate about dentistry and spent several years working as a lab tech for a local orthodontist. Growing up Dr. Winegar enjoyed spending his time outdoors; hiking, skiing, and boating. He served an LDS mission in Toronto, Canada. Following his mission, Dr. Winegar completed his undergraduate education at the University of Utah prior to attending dental school. He then attended and graduated from Creighton Dental College receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following dental school Dr. Winegar attended a postgrduate program for two additional years to receive a certificate of specialization in Prosthodontics. Dr. Winegar has since been practicing in the Holladay area since 1994. Outside of work, he spends time with his wife and 5 children at their home in Cottonwood Heights.
