About Todd B. Andrews, DDS
Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Dr. Andrews attended Sierra Oaks Elementary School, Arden Junior High, and Rio Americano High School. He received his undergraduate degree Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of San Diego then graduated from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. Dr. Andrews went on for advanced studies in general dentistry in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry which focused on oral surgery, implants, and esthetics. Dr. Andrews still continues education by attending courses at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Education for General Dentists in Key Biscayne, Florida. This Institute advances learning in all aspects of dental practice with emphasis on comprehensive dental care. Dr. Andrews began private practice taking over for a retiring dentist in the midtown area in 2001. We moved to our new location at 3031 F St. #200, Sacramento, CA 95816, in 2009. The move allowed for us to build a modern facility with the latest and best technology dentistry has to offer including minimal radiation digital x-rays, in-office whitening, intra-oral cameras, and computerized learning modules. We find that the new technology allows us to accomplish our practice philosophy. We believe in helping and educating our patients to increase dental knowledge in order for them to make better educated decisions about their own health. We continually strive to increase our technical and interpersonal skills as well as our patient's level of appreciation and understanding through education. This allows us to practice to our maximum potential and help serve the needs of our dental family. When not at his practice, Dr. Andrews enjoys outdoor activities especially hunting, fishing, diving, water and snow skiing. He is the middle of three boys and grew up working summers in his parents' family business here in Sacramento. He is a member of the Sacramento District Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He volunteers time with Smiles for Kids which helps screen and provide dental health care for local elementary students.
