About Tin T. Truong, DDS

Tin T. Truong DDS grew up in Orange County, California. His father is an engineer and his mother is a bright, dedicated, tenacious mom who raised all three children to obtain doctorate degrees. Dr. Truong's brother is a radiologist and his sister is a dermatologist. Dr. Truong is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Science in biology Magna cum laude. Dr. Truong was awarded membership into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society in his senior year of college. Because he had a strong interest in engineering, he pursued engineering as a career for a few years and was working toward a master's degree in computer science before deciding to pursue his true life's passion, dentistry. Always a person with an artistic bent as well as a technical mind, Dr. Truong's pursuit of dentistry is the perfect intersection of science, engineering and art. Because of his superior academic achievements, Dr. Truong was accepted into dental school at the University of California, San Francisco, one of the most prestigious and competitive dental schools in the country where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Truong came to the Houston area in 2011 to serve the community in Texas and opened his practice Frontier Dental in Baytown. He is proud to serve this community and has had great success in treating complicated dental issues. His science and engineering background are the ideal technical requirements for his work as a dentist. Dr. Truong lives in Houston with his wife Amanda and their son Alex. He enjoys traveling, jogging and spending time with his family. He is excited to welcome you to his office!
