About Theresa E. Segat, DMD
Dr. Theresa Segat is a Bergen County, N.J. dentist located on Spring Valley Road in Oradell. With over 25 years of experience as a trusted professional offering comprehensive, gentle family-friendly dental care, she has a long-standing reputation for quality in all she does. An originator of the Minimally Invasive Dentistry approach, now increasingly popular across the profession, Dr. Segat is a firm believer in working with her patients through personal consultation, education, and preventive instruction to offer them a lifetime of beauty and comfort in their dental work. From simple yet esthetic white fillings and anterior bonding, to complex long-term full mouth reconstruction involving dental implants, fixed or removable bridgework and partial dentures, and advanced cosmetic dentistry, helping patients achieve the healthiest teeth and gums possible with a truly conservative preservation of existing structure has always been her goal. She is a member and Past President of the NJ College of Prosthodontists, a member of the Northeast Gnathological Society, and has served for many years as a Trustee of the Bergen County Dental Society. In addition to her private practice in Oradell, she is on the dental teaching staff of Hackensack University Medical Center for Dentistry, and volunteers with the Bergen County Oral Cancer Coalition and with Dental Lifeline Network through the New Jersey Dental Association. She is great fan of exercise as a path to good health, a water sports enthusiast, and a former triathlete, enjoying classical music and Spanish guitar for relaxation.
