About Terry E. Williams, MD

Dr. Terry Williams completed his four-year undergraduate degree at Ohio State University in three years. In 1965, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree (Phi Beta Kappa). He attended Ohio State University College of Medicine and received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1969. He was elected to the medical research honorary, The Landacre Society and graduated with high honors. He was also elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Scholastic Honorary. Dr. Williams then completed his internal medicine internship at Ohio State (1969–70) and began an internal medicine residency at the University of Florida (1970–71). Dr. Williams’s advanced medical training was interrupted for two years to serve as a medical officer (Lt. Commander) in the United States Navy — practicing internal medicine at the Naval Air Station in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Terry Williams then completed his three-year dermatology residency program at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 1976. He immediately went into private practice in the Clear Lake area and has practiced there for 42 years. He is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and an active member of the Houston Dermatological Society, the Texas Dermatological Society and the American Academy of Dermatology. He serves on the Baylor College of Medicine faculty. He is a regional director for the Hansen’s Disease (Leprosy) Clinic and proudly has continued to serve that patient population for over 45 years. He has received the Houston Mayor’s Award for Outstanding Community Service by a Health Professional and for years has enjoyed assisting on the annual community skin cancer screening. He has been actively involved in many community organizations and philanthropically supports many local charities. Dr. Williams has been married to his wife, Mary, for over 52 years. Together, they have a son and daughter-in-law, a daughter and son-in-law and ten grandchildren. He enjoys family, traveling and the activities associated with his extensive antique car collection and touring. Dr. Terry Williams practices at U.S. Dermatology Partners, formerly Bay Area Dermatology, in Webster and Baytown, Texas.
