About Terry R. Maffi, MD

As one of the premier plastic surgeons in Paradise Valley, Arizona, Dr. Terry R. Maffi is passionate about providing each patient with exceptional personalized care and treatment. A highly skilled and innovative board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Maffi is committed to outstanding results. Trained in all aspects of aesthetic surgery, his specific emphasis is facial rejuvenation, breast, and body contouring. Dr. Maffi completed his plastic surgery fellowship training at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He joined Dr. Jack A. Friedland, an internationally recognized plastic surgeon in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Maffi also performed facial reconstruction on trauma and burn patients, working with one of the premier facial reconstructive surgeons in the nation. These experiences further advanced his expertise in facial anatomy and the intricacies of facial surgical techniques. In 2007, Dr. Maffi launched Maffi Plastic Surgery, his private practice in the heart of Paradise Valley, Arizona. Recognizing that surgery is just one component of facial rejuvenation, Dr. Maffi dedicated himself to gaining expertise in both the surgical and non-surgical components of aesthetics. Building upon this knowledge, he expanded, establishing a comprehensive center that focuses on all aspects of aesthetic medicine. This center was renamed Maffi and includes four specialized aesthetic clinics (Surgery, Injection, Skin, Laser) and a Men’s Clinic. In 2018, Dr. Maffi partnered with SkinCeuticals, opening SkinCeuticals Advanced Clinical Spa by Maffi. One of three Advanced Clinical Spas in Arizona, this partnership offers cutting-edge skin care technology, enhancing each patient’s aesthetic experience. Recognizing the value of higher education, Dr. Maffi dedicates time instructing future plastic surgeons. As Director of the Resident Aesthetic Surgery Clinic and Assistant Professor with Mayo Clinic Arizona, he mentors plastic surgery residents on the complexities of aesthetic surgery and surgical techniques.
