About Tarana Mohammadi, MD
Dr. Mohammadi is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she earned a bachelor’s degree in brain behavior, and cognitive science. She attended Wayne State University School of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as well as the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Mohammadi completed her transitional internship at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn before completing a three-year dermatology residency at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago. After her residency, Dr. Mohammadi practiced dermatology near Boston, Massachusetts. She and her husband moved back to Michigan in 2018. Dr. Mohammadi has made numerous professional presentations to dermatologists and other groups and has co-authored research papers in several medical journals. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, including being board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, also including Michigan Dermatological Society and Michigan State Medical Society. She has staff privileges at Beaumont Hospital.
