About Tamuyen Nguyen, MD
Dr. Tamuyen Nguyen believes the art of medicine integrates both the application of science and the establishment of an interpersonal relationship with a patient. “I love to communicate with my patients; to help them understand their skin problems and then work with them to find the most suitable and best therapeutic options”, she says. She completed her undergraduate and medical school education through the University of Missouri-Kansas City 6-Year Medical Program. Dr. Nguyen did her residency at Baylor College of Medicine in family medicine. She returned to her roots and was a faculty member at the University of Missouri for two years. Having always been stimulated by an interest in dermatology, she undertook a 3-year fellowship in dermatology through the American Association of Physician Specialists (AAPS). For the past six years she has narrowed the scope of her practice to dermatology and provides an array of medical, surgical, and cosmetic services to address her patients’ needs.
