About Tamara Dixon, DDS
Tamara L. Dixon, D.D.S. is a cosmetic and wellness dentist and has been in private practice in the Los Angeles area since 1994. She is known for using the highest standard of care and the most current techniques in delivering esthetic dentistry to her patients. She specializes in oral systemic health, dental cosmetic procedures, orthodontics and orthopedics in adults and children. She provides advanced antimicrobial periodontal treatment with an emphasis on improving overall systemic health. Dr. Dixon attained a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California before attending dental school at UCSF where she received a Doctorate in Dental Surgery as well as a Bachelor’s in Dental Science. She has taken extensive continuing education courses in Orthodontics, Orthopedics, TMJ treatment, Dental Cosmetics, Dental Implant Restorations, Periodontics and Sleep Apnea. Dr. Dixon took a sabbatical from private practice for two years (2011-2013) to do dental research.
