About Tamara L. Bauer, DDS

Dr. Tamara L. Bauer knew early on that she loved working hands on with people and having a strong interest in science and bio mechanics, she developed her career in dentistry. She completed her undergraduate work at Michigan State University. She continued her education at Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated in 1990 with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Bauer started her dental career in Mason and became an integral part of this local community. In the early 1990s after the practice outgrew the downtown location, they relocated to 782 E. Columbia Street. Dr. Bauer continues to strive to give her patients the best dentistry available. She believes in a collaborative effort between the patient and dentist, giving the patient the opportunity to be significantly involved in the treatment process, and working to achieve the best care possible with regard to each person's dental health and overall well-being. Dr. Bauer enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and continues to be involved in several professional organizations such as the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and the Central District Dental Society, where she has served as a board member and past President. She has also been involved with the dental education committee for the Peer Review board. Currently Dr. Bauer is a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is moving forward to complete her accredidation. Dr. Bauer resides locally with her three children. When not in the office, she enjoys continuing education for dentistry, skiing and various sporting events.
