About Susan Latimer, DDS
A native Houstonian, Dr. Susan Latimer attended Baylor University and the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate education and graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston in 1996. She was then selected to continue her education in a general practice residency at Hermann Hospital. She went on to serve as a part-time clinical instructor at The University of Texas while practicing as an associate in Clear Lake. Since 2000, when Latimer Dental Arts was established, Dr. Latimer has dedicated herself to full-time private practice. She and her staff members regularly attend continuing education classes and are active participants in local study clubs as a way of advancing their knowledge in the dental field. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, Spear Faculty Club, American Academy of Oral Systemic Health and Greater Houston Dental Society. Latimer Dental Arts has been a member of Smile Source’s premier network of private practice dentists since 2013. Dr. Latimer is an accomplished pianist and violist and performs with the Texas Medical Center Orchestra. She loves yoga, playing outdoors, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
