About Surinder Sandhu, MD
Dr. Sandhu was born and brought up in north India. She attended ST. Joseph’s Convent High School in Jullundur, Punjab India. She completed her pre-medical studies at Sophia College, Ajmer, and Rajasthan, India. She attended the Jawaharlal Lal Nehru Medical College in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India which is affiliated to the University of Rajasthan and graduated with a degree of MBBS. After completing her internship and house job she joined Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research at Chandigarh India and did her residency in anesthesia. She worked as a registrar at the Institute before migrating to USA in November 1977. After doing her ECFMG she joined the University of Pittsburgh where she did another residency in Anesthesia and a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia. She worked in Pittsburgh as an anesthesiologist before moving to Fremont California in1983. She is a board certified anesthesiologist and worked at Washington Hospital from 1983 to 2010 when she left the hospital and joined a Surgery Center. In 2010 she decided to start Aesthetic Medicine. After getting intensive training and Board certification in Aesthetic Medicine she opened her medical spa.
