About Steven C. Spencer, MD
Dr. Spencer graduated with honors from the University of Colorado, then received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed his residency in Family Medicine in 1989 from UT Health Science Center in Houston receiving his board certification in Family Medicine. While in Galveston, he met his wife, Michelle Osborne as she was completing her Physician Assistant degree at UTMB. Dr. Spencer brings over 30 years of experience from the Emergency Room, hospital, and clinical practice, providing care from preventive medicine to critically ill patients and has extensive experience in dermatologic office surgeries and procedures. It’s this vast experience that provides extremely safe and effective aesthetic procedures. In 1999, Dr. Spencer & Michelle established Kelliwood Family Practice in Katy, TX. In 2005, they added aesthetic medicine to their practice with the creation of About Face & Body. Dr. Spencer and Michelle reside in Richmond, Texas. They have a grown son, Christoper, who is a musician and resides in Austin, Texas. They have another grown son, Nicholas who is a doctor training in Galveston and married to Melissa (who also manages the offices) and together they have a young daughter.
