About Steven M. Nitsch, MD
Dr. Nitsch has been actively involved in medical care in Kalamazoo since 1978 when he moved to the city for his general surgery training at MSU/KCMS. Following this, he completed a plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, returning to Kalamazoo to practice plastic surgery and has been continuously involved in providing plastic surgical care since his return in 1985. Dr. Nitsch is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is active at both Bronson Methodist Hospital and Borgess Medical Center, providing a broad spectrum of care, including plastic surgical care of burns, trauma, congenital deformities, reconstruction, and cosmetic surgery.
