About Steven Cook, DDS
Dr. Steve Cook grew up on the central coast of California, where his father practiced dentistry for many years. He left California for the flatlands of Texas to attend college at Abilene Christian University. While there, he met his wife, Tonya, and together they moved to San Antonio where he attended dental school at the UT Health Science Center San Antonio. After graduation, they moved to Seattle to start their careers. Dr. Steve practiced as an associate dentist alongside older dentists for five years. He bought his first practice in Bellevue, Washington in 2003. After the births of his two daughters, they decided to move closer to family and chose Austin. Dr. Steve bought the practice from Brooks Goldsmith in late 2006. Dr. Goldsmith had built a well-established practice in the heart of Austin and Dr. Steve is proud to carry on the tradition of excellent customer service and patient care.
