About Stephen V. Laborde, MD

Stephen Van Laborde, M.D., originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, received his undergraduate degree in English literature with distinction from Stanford University. He graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine where he was the recipient of the Isadore Dyer Valedictory Memorial Prize. After an internship in Internal Medicine at Tulane University, he completed his Dermatology residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York and served as Chief Resident. Afterwards, Dr. Laborde gained fellowship training in Laser Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology from Harvard and Yale University faculty in Boston at SkinCare Physicians of Chestnut Hill. Dr. Laborde is recognized for his expertise in the treatment of facial wrinkles with Botox®. He is a national Botox® trainer for other physicians and a member of the National Education Faculty for Botox Cosmetic®. Dr. Laborde is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He has staff privileges at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital of Houston and Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital of Houston. In addition to serving on various national committees, he is published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national meetings. Dr. Laborde was selected for inclusion in 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Texas Super Doctors in Texas Monthly magazine.
