About Stephanie L. Bayers, MD

Dr. Stephanie L Bayers, MD, FAAD is a Board Certified Dermatologist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a Full Time Dermatologist at Advanced Skin and Mohs Surgery Center. Dr. Bayers was born in the Chicago suburbs and grew up in Burr Ridge, Illinois. She completed her Dermatology Residency Training at the University of Texas Southwestern, in Dallas, Texas, her medical internship at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Illinois, and her medical school education at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. Prior to medical school, she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, graduating magna cum laude from the Olin School of Business with a major in Accounting and a minor in Biology. While at the University of Texas Southwestern, Dr. Bayers received the esteemed honor of being selected the Overall Chief Resident. She was awarded the leadership award twice during her residency in addition to receiving the cognitive excellence award annually for her top performance on national dermatology exams. During her medical training in Miami, Dr. Bayers performed at the top of her medical school class, was awarded the Lange Student Award for Outstanding Achievement and was one of only six students elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in her third year of medical school. She completed a year of research in pediatric dermatology at Northwestern University during her medical school education. Dr. Bayers is a skilled dermatologist in medical, procedural, and cosmetic dermatology. She sees patients of all ages and all skin types.
