About Stefan M. Szczerba, MD
Dr. Stefan Szczerba (pronounced Sher-ba) is double board-certified in general and plastic surgery. He completed his Cosmetic Fellowship at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary, and his Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. His general surgery residency was completed at Northwestern, which he attended after earning his medical degree from Rush Medical College. He has authored articles for medical journals and textbooks, and taught medical students at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Szczerba is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Szczerba has been named a “TOP” doctor by realself.com, an honor which is earned by the top 10% of ASPS members. He has been named a Patients’ Choice Award winner every year from 2012 to the current year, and has been recognized by Castle Connolly as a Top Doctor.
