About Sonney L. Chong, DMD
Dr. Sonney Chong graduated with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Before attending dental school, he completed his undergraduate studies at San Francisco State University. Although Dr. Chong has been practicing dentistry in the Sacramento area since 1981, he continually expands his education in the dental field. He has received advanced training in Invisalign® and Cfast™ orthodontics, and he is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Sacramento District Dental Society. Dr. Chong has been recognized by Sacramento Magazine as a “Top Dentist” from 2012-2018. His goal is to simply take good care of his patients in a positive and caring atmosphere. Dr. Chong has lived in Sacramento since 1980 and has established a professional and community presence in greater Sacramento. He is active in the community in many capacities, from serving on the Cal Expo Board of Directors to being an active member of the Sacramento Outreach Community Advisory Board with the Sacramento Sheriff to acting as the Chair of CAPITAL (Council of Asian Pacific Islanders Together for Advocacy and Leadership).
