About Sonal Patel, DDS
Sonal Patel grew up in Lower Bucks County, Pennsylvania – a northeastern suburb of Philadelphia. As a child, she had an interest in art and science. Graduating in 1991 from the State University of New York with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, she determined the best choice was to combine her interests and become a general and cosmetic dentist. After completing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University in 1995, Dr. Patel decided to enhance her education by completing a year long General Practice residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She has been in private practice since completing her formal training. Currently, Dr. Patel maintains a solo practice in the Marina District of San Francisco Dr. Patel remains up-to-date on the latest and most advanced techniques in the field of dentistry by taking continuing education courses regularly. She is also currently a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the San Francisco Dental Society.
