About Shurong Chang, MD, PHD
Dr. Chang received her B.S. with thesis honor distinction from Peking University (also known as Beijing University) in Beijing, China. After obtaining her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees with honors from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, Dr. Chang moved to Northern California to join her family. She completed her internship in preliminary Internal Medicine at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, followed by residency in Dermatology at University of California Davis Medical Center. Dr. Chang has published in high-profile journals including Cell and Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences. Dr. Chang is fluent in English and Mandarin.
