About Sheila Naik, DDS
Dr. Naik Upon graduating with numerous awards and honors from the University of Oklahoma dental school, Dr. Naik was selected to participate in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program. Her motivation to participate in the AEGD program is the same one that drives her current practice: to enhance her clinical skills in order to provide the optimal dental care for her patients. After years of dealing with the Oklahoma winters, Dr. Naik was enticed by the southwestern charm and weather of Phoenix. After practicing as an associate dentist in another office for eight years, she started her own private practice which emulates her caring personality and gentle clinical approach. Since opening the doors of Desert Sky Dentistry in Glendale AZ in 2003, Dr. Naik has been selected as a “Top Dentist”, even being profiled in the inaugural Phoenix magazine “Top Dentist” issue. Dr. Naik is an accredited member of ADA (American Dental Association), AzDA (Arizona Dental Association), and AGD (Academy of General Dentistry). Additionally, upon completing years of continuing education, Dr. Naik has been recognized for her clinical skills and is now a Clinical Instructor at the esteemed Kois Center. The Kois Center is a rigorous advanced education program that promotes a treatment approach based upon evidence based restorative and preventive dentistry.
