About Sheena Phan, DDS
Dr. Sheena Phan was born in a quiet suburb in Southern California. She received her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California at Berkeley, where she also minored in Disability Studies. While at UCB, she took on leadership roles in student-run medical and dental clinics for underprivileged individuals, which shaped her career in the healthcare field. Dr. Phan then attended the prestigious University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where she was inducted to the Tau Kappa Omega Honor Society and recognized for her commitment to volunteerism locally, nationally and internationally. Dr. Phan has lent her expertise to several practices within the Bay Area before settling in San Mateo. She excels in providing patient-centered and compassionate care, with a focus on patient education. She has served on committees within the California Dental Association to address oral health care issues and her experiences delivering dental services across cultural and financial barriers has allow her to individualize care for each of her patients. Dr. Sheena Phan offers family & cosmetic dentistry to adults and children as young as 2 years old.
