About Sheena Allen, DMD
Modern dentistry can be life-changing. It is a constantly advancing field, with each new technology, technique, and material providing additional options, a more comfortable experience, and stable, lasting, beautiful results. Our slogan is: A healthy smile, A beautiful you. A smile shouldn’t just be beautiful; a smile should be a symbol of health for years to come. I am extremely passionate about smile makeovers. The term is broad and is used to describe so much of what I am able to provide my patients. Sometimes a smile makeover means veneers; other times it means custom dentures. My passion is creating the best smile for each individual while ensuring optimum dental health and long-term maintenance. I am honored, as a prosthodontist, to be a member of a specialty that has vowed to be at the forefront of technology and quality. Being able to offer my skills, insights, and services to my patients, and in doing so helping to transform their lives, brings me the greatest joy. Dr. Allen is a board-certified prosthodontist. She has devoted her career to providing the highest quality of evidence-based dentistry to her patients, and treating each with compassion and respect for their unique desires and concerns. Her goal is to help each person regain oral wellness and a lasting, confident smile. Understanding that some people have dental anxiety, Dr. Allen’s desire is to build a bond of trust and open communication with each patient. She listens without judgment, seeks to understand the patient’s needs, and provides encouraging support throughout the visit. Dr. Allen taught prosthodontics for four-and-a-half years at the US Army’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Fort Hood. Since leaving teaching, she has continued to lecture around the country. Dr. Allen is a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. In order to maintain her fellow and Diplomate status, she has agreed to maintain the highest level of continuing education, to stay at the forefront of technology, methodologies, and research. This ensures that she continues to provide state-of-the-art prosthodontic care and deliver the highest quality of results.
