About Sharel S. Sly, DDS
Dr. Sharel S. Sly is a native of New Orleans, LA. From an early age, she was taught to work hard for what you want, strive for excellence, and let nothing keep you from achieving your goals. Because of these ideals, she has been able to prove that: “It is not where you come from, but where you are going that determines your path in life.” Dr. Sly received her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Louisiana State University-Baton Rouge. Afterward, she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2009. In 2011, she moved to Houston and was later recognized as an Up and Coming of Houston’s Top 50 Health, Wellness, and Medical Professionals, in 2013. Now, Dr. Sly hopes to make her mark in Houston as she continues to practice her craft in dentistry. Her goal is to provide high-quality dental care at her dental clinic in Houston, TX, allowing patients to develop a lasting relationship with her; she wants to restore the traditional doctor-patient dynamic that is the staple of private practice.
