Originally from South Africa, Shanaaz is a licensed esthetician and certified permanent make-up artist. After enrolling at the prestigious Aveda Frederic's Institute in Indianapolis (IN), she graduated top of her class with honors as a certified esthetician. For more than a decade Shanaaz has been grooming brows. She is recognized as a perfectionist in her field and has received a mention in Instyle magazine as a pro at crafting natural looking yet precise face framers. Her creative eye, skill, and unique style has paved the pathway to Shanaaz pursuing and collecting numerous permanent make up certifications. A focused artist never stops growing and Shanaaz has proven consistently by the constant elevation of her education. In March of 2017 Shanaaz received a microblading certificate from the world renowned celebrity specialist microblader Daria Chupry in Beverly Hills. In addition, Shanaaz has also acquired a certification in eyeliner enhancement from London UK's based Artface by Oxana Ciumac. To remain current with the latest trends and techniques, Shanaaz regularly attends the Worldwide Eyebrow festival to learn from the best international makeup artists.
