About Shalini Kalia, DDS
Dr. Shalini Kalia is a graduate of Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California where she was on the dean's list every semester. She has been involved with dentistry for more than two decades earningthree degrees in dentistry (BOS, MDS, DDS) in the process. She has also published several research papers in the field of dentistry. Dr. Kalia has been practicing dentistry in the Bay Area since 2011. Prior to joining the Cisco Life Connections team in 2014, Dr. Kalia was practicing in the Mission Area of San Francisco. Beingpart of the Cisco family has been a source of great pleasure. Growing up in India, Dr. Kalia had her own experience of visiting a dentist and the fear associated with it. As a result, she is passionate about patient education on preventative care, and completely relates to any nervous patients fearful of the dental drill. It is her priority to help patients understand their treatment options and deliver quality dental care through a gentle touch. Outside of work, Dr. Kalia enjoys spending outdoor time with her husband and son. She also loves trying new cuisines with family and friends.
