About Shahyar Foroughi, DDS
Dr. Foroughi is a comprehensive dentist who has a passion for keeping his patients and their smiles happy and healthy. Some ask why did you become a dentist? “The answer is simple. I loved the sciences, I enjoy working with people, and I like fixing things. Dentistry is a healing art. Dr. Foroughi emphasizes on listening to the Patients needs, focusing on prevention, providing high quality dentistry in a comfortable and caring atmosphere, and establishing a mutual trust and respect. Dr. Foroughi, also prides himself on first being a friend and your personal advocate, not just your dentist. Originally from Southern California, Dr. Foroughi Graduated from University of Southern California Magna Cum Laude in Biological Sciences in 1995. He received his professional degree in Doctoral Dental Surgery at the University of California San Francisco in 2000. He went on to improve his skills and knowledge in implants, periodontal surgeries, cosmetic dentistry and complex dental procedures in a residency program in Audie Murphy memorial Veterans Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Foroughi continues his learning with numerous Continuing education classes. He makes a commitment to stay current with Continuing Education and to be knowledgeable about all the options available to you.
