About Shaanan Shetty
Dr. Shaanan Shetty is originally from Tallahassee, FL. He completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology. Dr. Shetty then went on to complete his medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis. He remained in St. Louis for his internship at Mercy Hospital. Dr. Shetty then returned to Washington University in St. Louis for his dermatology residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital where he served as chief resident during his final year. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Shetty sees patients of all ages. His areas of interest include all aspects of general medical dermatology including skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, contact dermatitis, and acne as well as surgical dermatology. Dr. Shetty lives in Brookhaven with his wife Danna, an Atlanta native. Outside of work he enjoys playing guitar, exercising, watching Duke basketball, and spending time with his wife and family.
