About Seung H. Son, DDS
Dr Seung Hyung Son is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated from Temple University with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology in 2006. He continued his education in New York where he graduated with a DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2011. He completed his 1 year of General Practice Residency in New York Hospital Queens in Flushing, New York. He gained a substantial amount of knowledge in the Trauma 1 Center on how to treat patients with Complex Medical History. Doctor Son worked closely with the Oral Surgeon for Wisdom teeth extraction, Implants and Dental Surgery. He is very professional and experienced dentist in Katy. Doctor Son enjoys all phases of dentistry such as Restorative, Endodontics, Implantology, Prosthetic, Cosmetic and Oral Surgery. However,he enjoys Oral Surgery, implant and Cosmetic dental cases the most. Doctor Son moved to Houston in 2012.He completed intensive course on bon grafting/Implantology seminar with World renowned Oral/ Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr. Arun Garg, as well as President of the IDIA. Dr Son also completed fellowship program from International Dental Implant Association after the seminar. He continues to take Continuing Education courses with one of the top notched program from Dr. Gorden J. Christensen and Dr. Frank Spear to pursuit excellence and most updated technology in all scopes of dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. When Doctor Son is not spending time at work, he spends time with his wife and son, taking pictures and traveling.
