About Scott Johnson, DDS
Dr. Scott Johnson is a 1996 graduate of the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry. He attended Monroe County Community College for his undergraduate degree. Dr. Johnson is proud to be considered at the top of his profession and has actively attended numerous continuing education courses to stay up to date with the changing trends in dentistry. Dr. Johnson began his dental career at the Monroe County Health Department before joining his uncle, Dr. Darryl Eighmey, at Westwood Dental. He was first an associate, became a partner, and purchased the practice in 2008. Dr. J makes it one of his primary goals to see everyone as a "person" and not just a "patient", while also providing the very best care, based on each individual. With over 20 years experience treating patients with a wide variety of dental concerns, Dr. J's special interests include cosmetic dentistry and working with children. He is known as a caring, gentle dentist who truly gets to know each patient. Dr. J resides in Monroe with his wife, Linda, and has three amazing children; Alex, Hannah, and Abbey. He has been a resident of Monroe County most of his childhood and all of his adult life. In his spare time he enjoys being outside and staying active.
