About Scott Harris
The decision to surgically enhance oneself is intensely personal, so it’s very important to be comfortable with and confident in your plastic surgeon. We would like to take this opportunity to tell you about Dr. Harris and his background as a plastic surgeon: Dr. Scott W. Harris was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He attended St. Mark’s School of Texas and credits his high school for having taught him how to study. After high school, he went to Texas A&M University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Harris received his medical degree from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and completed General Surgery training in Phoenix, Arizona. He later accepted a Plastic Surgery residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston — a world renowned Plastic Surgery program, both for their research and its numerous alumni who are recognized as pioneers in the plastic surgery field. Having completed General Surgery and Plastic Surgery training, Dr. Scott Harris achieved board certification through the American Board of Surgery (1992-2002) and the American Board of Plastic Surgery (1993- present). Despite his already lengthy education, he decided to do one more year of fellowship at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
