About Sarmistha Banerjee, DDS
Dr. Sarmistha Banerjee is an independent practicing dentist in Houston, focusing on Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as Prosthodontics. She uses her extensive experience to provide the highest level of dental care in a thorough, gentle and compassionate manner. Patient relations and patient care, along with ethical and quality work are the cornerstones of her practice. She loves to get to know each patient individually, and takes the time to discuss treatment options with them. Her topmost priority is to take great care of patients, making sure they are comfortable, and that their needs are being met. Dr. Banerjee received her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery in 1996 from Manipal University, a premier dental college in India. Subsequently she completed her specialty in Prosthodontics with a Masters Degree from the University of Texas Dental School Houston in 2007. She did clinical rotations at the Veterans’ Affairs Medical Center, and at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston. Dr. Banerjee keeps herself current with the dental field’s evolving techniques and materials through continuing education programs. This enables her to provide state of the art treatment options for her patients. Dr. Banerjee is happily married, and her husband is a geologist working for an international oil exploration company. She and her husband have one son who is in high school.
