About Sarah Mathai, DDS
As a Northern California native, Dr. Mathai has focused her career in Sacramento and specializes in general and cosmetic dentistry. She prides herself in creating an open, judgment-free environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their oral health needs in order to create healthy habits for a lifetime of overall well-being. Dr. Mathai’s philosophy has always been to treat patients as family and use her gentle touch to guide patients to a healthy and happy smile. She is also a strong proponent of utilizing the latest in digital technology to ensure the best outcome and offer the utmost convenience for patients. She began her education at Santa Clara University and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. She is an active member of the American, California and Sacramento Dental Societies. In her free time, Dr. Mathai enjoys spending time exploring some of our most famous cities, trying new cuisines, and spending time in the kitchen with family trying out new recipes—particularly anything spicy. She enjoys rehabilitating antique furniture, acrylic painting, and interior design.
