About Sara L. Colby, MD

Sara L. Colby, M.D. graduated Summa Cum Laude from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and received her Medical Degree from Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Cleveland and her dermatology residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Colby served as an Assistant Professor of dermatology at UCSF Veterans Hospital, San Francisco, Ca and began private practice in the Los Gatos area in 1983. She is a board certified dermatologist and a member of the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. “I have especially enjoyed the transition from a general dermatology practice to one which also offers cosmetic options such as laser surgery, intense pulsed light, skin fillers, and Botox®. The addition of cosmetic dermatology services for our patients has been exciting and extremely rewarding. I am particularly proud of the Institute and the opportunity to provide medically supervised, effective skin care products to patients. Men and women are able to reverse many types of skin damage and ‘turn back the hands of time’.* We have also seen remarkable success and improvement with our acne patients where over-the-counter and prescription medications have in the past failed.* The skin care products we offer are chosen after rigorous testing, review of clinical studies and demonstration of proven efficacy.
