About Sara C. Bentz, DMD
Dr. Cooley Bentz graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Thomas Jefferson University. As a former nurse and the daughter of a dentist, she has a unique warmth and personal style of dentistry that has brought generations of patients to her office for care. Dr. Cooley Bentz was drawn to dentistry by watching her father, Dr. Thomas J. Cooley, who practiced in E. Norriton for 40 years. Like him, Dr. Cooley Bentz is a natural teacher. She believes in becoming a partner in her patients’ care, helping them maintain good oral health through prevention, and correcting problems before they become serious. She loves making patients feel better about their smiles, and genuinely enjoys working with children and young adults to instill lifelong habits of good oral hygiene. Dr. Cooley Bentz has advanced training in cosmetic and restorative procedures, as well as general oral surgery and routine endodontics. She is a clinical perfectionist with exceptional skills in cosmetic and restorative care. As a result, she brings superior aesthetics to even routine dental care. An involved member of the Montgomery County community, Dr. Cooley Bentz sponsors youth scholarships in memory of her beloved father, donates her time and expertise at local schools, and raises money for community charitable organizations. Dr. Cooley Bentz is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction that honors her superior commitment, advanced training and skills. She also is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. Locally, she belongs to the Montgomery-Bucks County Dental Society, and participates in the North Penn Advanced Dental Study Group and Valley Forge Dental Study Group, sharing insights and the latest developments in dentistry with other professionals. Dr. Cooley Bentz and her husband, prosthodontist Dr. Robert Bentz, have four children. She enjoys spending time with her family, as well as cooking, boating, sewing, and biking. I genuinely care about my patients, and I give them my best.
