Dr. Sandra Read is one of Washington DC's leading Dermatologists. She is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. She is nationally recognized expert in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. She welcomes you to her practice and looks forward to providing professional care for your dermatology needs. She has been in private practice downtown Washington, DC for nearly 30 years as a Board Certified Dermatologist. Dr. Sandra Read received her Medical Degree in 1975 from the Medical College of Virginia. She completed her Internship in Internal Medicine at St Louis University Hospitals. Her speciality training in Dermatology was at the Medical College of Virginia, and she was honored to be appointed Chief Resident in Dermatology from 1978-79. She is a Board Certified Dermatologist. Dr. Read was honored to serve for 3 years in the United States Army as faculty of Dermatology at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington DC. She has served as a consultant to the Tibetan Government in Exile, in Dharmsala, India. Dr. Read is fluent in German and welcomes non-English speaking German patients.
