About Samuel Escarsega, DDS
Dr Samuel A. Escarsega, DDS, (better known at the office as Dr. E) wasn't born in Texas but got here as fast as he could. In 2001, Dr E moved here to beautiful San Antonio from Tucson AZ. Having worked for Office Depot since 1990 Dr. E decided to leave the office supply retail business and return to college to pursue dentistry. He completed his undergraduate education in 2005 at the University of Texas at San Antonio graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in biology. He then completed his dental education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, the number one ranked dental school in the nation. During dental school Dr. E felt a calling to serve his country and joined the US Navy. At graduation Dr. E was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Naval Dental Corps and was assigned to 32nd Street Naval base and Balboa Hospital in San Diego for additional post graduate training and subsequently received a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr. E was fortunate enough to be able to return to beautiful San Antonio and fulfill his commitment to the US Navy at Joint Base San Antonio Fort Sam Houston. In addition to being a bit of a dental nerd, he is a huge Spurs fan, Dallas Cowboys fan, UTSA Roadrunner fan and UA Wildcat fan. More importantly, Dr. E has three beautiful daughters who fill his world with love and remind him to make every day count.
