About Samuel A. Botta, MD
Dr. Botta obtained his medical degree in Bologna, Italy. He did his residency in General Surgery in Pittsburgh, PA and his fellowship in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery at Straith Hospital in Detroit, MI. He is a current or past member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, American Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, International Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and he is a Past Diplomate of The American Board of Cosmetic Surgery 1990-2015. Dr. Botta has been involved in hair restoration for the past 25 years, performing thousands of hair transplant procedures involving both FUE and FUT. He is also very experienced and specialized in Beards and Moustaches, Ethnic hair, Eyebrows, Facelift hair revision, Female hair restoration surgery, Medical (non-surgical) management of hair loss for men, Medical (non-surgical) management of hair loss for women, Mini-graft transplantation and Scar revisions.
